Dog Food Calculator
Guidelines to Consider:
Use common sense: This calculator does not take common sense into account. Balance your dog's diet with a well-rounded meal.
Life Stages: Dogs go through different phases in their life and require different caloric amounts at these stages. Puppies, for example, need more food to grow.
Use Drop-down Menus: This app is created with formulas! If your food is listed, use the drop-down menus to eliminate the possibility of errors.
Caloric contents: If your dog's food is not listed as an option, enter in the caloric contents manually. Caloric contents (kcal/kg) can be found on the back of the food package.
Measure by Weight: It’s best to feed your dog by the gram rather than by the cup. A food scale is recommended for accuracy.
